Dynamics CRM for phones express App Reviews

Wow - is this every bad

It takes real balls to start a product with a blue screen. Turns out thats the best part of the app. Do they know its a mobile device. Not intuitive - its like a 5 year old mobile app. Brutal, MS must really hate iPhones

MobileExpress rebranded?

This looks like the 5 yr old and useless MobileExpress app from Microsoft.

Frustrating

Slowwwwwww. Its painful. Not user friendly either, more steps than there needs to be. Sales call date and time are impossible to set.

Awful UI

Expect much better from MS, probably their worst iPhone app.

Did not running

Cant running Microsoft update application

Blank screen

Trying to use it but displays only blank screen after login

Terrible

This has zero functionality and I cannot accomplish daily tasks

Great Start

This is a great start to the CRM app but it is missing some if the items that our company uses the most such as Orders, Quotes, Invoices, and Products. The app is basically useless for our company without these items. Great start though! Great functionality!

Cant connect to MS hosted instances?

Whats the deal? Cloud instances dont support your own app?

I havent used it yet BUT...

I havent used it yet BUT...you do need the CRM 2013 Roll Out for it to work. Our Online account gets updated this weekend. I expect it to work fine but not as good as Rescos CRM for Dynamics - absolutely amazing. This has no offline mode as far as I know, which slows down performance and means it cant be used when there is no Internet (like in the elevator when Im on my way to see a prospect).

Disappointing for now

While I am excited about Microsoft embracing the iOS platform, I am disappointed that they have severely constrain the functionality of this app. My dynamics implementation sits behind our firewall and we VPN into the infrastructure to use it. Therefore I do not use SSL Certs on the dynamics app itself. I would also like to be able to connect to it while I am in the office running from meeting to meeting and it remains inside my firewall. The application requires an httpS connection in order to run. Consequently, I cant even use it right now. It would be better if they didnt require an httpS connection, and instead allowed you to use it the way you do in your infrastructure.

Unusable App

Tried to use this app, but it is virtually worthless. While on the road, Id like an app that connects to The CRM that allows the ability to search for opportunities and quickly update information. This app makes it incredibly difficult to do what should be an easy task. Had high hopes for the app when it was finally released. More improvement is necessary.

Disappointment

This app is horrendously disappointing. I agree with the reviewer who said its clearly not ready for prime time. Its not update to the new iOS "look," doesnt do dynamic scrolling, and other things that seem basic in iPhone apps these days.

Really bad iOS design by MSFT Developers

Reviews are right - fundamental UX design rules are ignored (scrolling and navigation). Even if that were fixed, the app itself is ugly - font size isnt consistent and there are no preference settings, when you click into any of the options there is a colored block covering the first letter (e.g, Accounts, Contacts), which I think they believe is clever, and most annoying of all it doesnt always keep you logged in like countless other apps are able to do. No executive will remember what their login credentials are nor will they want to bother with doing so after the initial login. The major barrier to utilization of CRM by our entire org is due to a lack of mobile access. I was hoping this app would solve for that, but it really falls short and needs either a major overhaul or several iterations of releases.

Doesnt load corp info

Not to mention UX is painfully poor.

Awful

Although Im highly impressed with Microsofts Dynamics CRM platform, this MOBILE app doesnt even deliver on its core purpose. No interaction design considerations whatsoever, leading to disengagement of the user. The lack of feedback to the user causes unintentional double taps because the user doesnt know the app is busy "doing something". This shouldnt even be an alpha release.

Cant logon using single sign on /ADFS

We use SSO and have not been able to logon to crm with this app. Works in browser just not this app.

Not ready for prime time.

Poor app, cannot edit many fields, does not confirm to many iPhone standards. Of note, dynamic scrolling. Major annoyance, especially with long lists. Zero integration with calendar or contacts. We still have to find ourselves running a terminal server with outlook and crm concurrently running to sync events and service activities. Until this app can do what it should, I already have a more than useful contacts app. Needs lots of work.

IT/DB administrator for Destra Capotal

Microsoft designed it but there are so many bugs. It freeze, showing error messages. This is way of simple use. I had to install it so many times. My users got the same problems on iPhone.

Horrible, does not work

Nothing works, its slow and you have to click things numerous time before they slowly open within the app. Then it crashes.
